This list is work in progress - if you spot an error, please let us know. Even if your camera is not in this list it might still be supported. We haven't had the possibility to test all camera model raw formats. The best way to check is to install RawTherapee and try opening a file. Even though a file may be unsupported, in many cases it will still open as RawTherapee has format decoders for most known formats. However as most proprietary formats lack color matrix and sensor area information you may see washed out or wrong colors and/or a surrounding frame of black or discoloured pixels. This means that the camera is not supported but can quite easily become so by adding some constants either to the source code or to the [http://rawpedia.rawtherapee.com/camconst.json camconst.json] text file.
RawTherapee supports most raw formats, including Pentax and Sony Pixel Shift, Canon Dual-Pixel, and those from Foveon and X-Trans sensors. If you're wondering whether it supports your camera's raw format, first download RawTherapee and try for yourself. If a raw format is not supported it will either not open, or the preview in the Editor tab will appear black, white, or have a strong color cast - usually magenta. In that case, read the [[Adding Support for New Raw Formats]] article.

If the "Notes" column does not detail partial support, full support is implied. If an unsupported raw file triggers RawTherapee to crash, there will be a check mark in the crash column. If a camera is not listed, give RawTherapee a try and let us know via [https://code.google.com/p/rawtherapee/issues/list our Google Code page] or [http://rawtherapee.com/forum/ our forum] if it works with your raw format.

In that case, read the Adding Support for New Raw Formats article.
